Images organises an excursion on Friday January 18th 15.00 of the FACE to FACE exhibition. We organise this with Nationaal Archief. Elwin Hendrikse was envolved in organizing the exhibition and will tell us all about the concept behind the exhibition and the selection process of the pictures, which he has carefully studied. He will take us behind the scene.
The Nationaal Archief has the largest collection of photographs in the Netherlands. The exhibition contains pictures of international photographers e.g. Cecil Beaton, Rene Burri, Henri Cartier Bresson, John Garner, Philip Halsman, Yousuf Karsh, Arnold Newman, Chris Steel-Perkins. And some very good Dutch Photograpers e.g. Ed van der Elsken, Paul Huf, Johan van der Keuken, Bert Nienhuis, Guus Dubbelman, Eddy Poshuma de Boer, Bert Verhoef, Corbino, Wubbo de Jong.
