Leigh Preston is a prestigious photographer from the UK, holding two RPS Fellowships, for his pictorial images of mill towns in Lancashire, and for Darkroom Printing. His work has been exhibited in many cities throughout the UK. For more information see his website. Leigh’s presentation will be based on a series of Themes in Photography covering: Humour & Street photography, some environmental portraits and life in Georgia, in a way reportage style. Of course some of his Industrial Landscape work, Yellowstone in the winter and Santorini. He will also show some before & after examples to show how he has interpreted an image. Some work will be mono, some in colour.
‘ I will try and explain my approach and why I choose to use drama, atmosphere and personal input in the work I do, also maybe talk about my influences and a small bit of my own ‘road’ through photography.’
